2026 Hanyang ERICA Winter School

Looking for an exciting winter experience in South Korea that combines academic learning, cultural exploration, and unforgettable adventures?

Hanyang University ERICA, through its Office of International Affairs, invites students to join the 2026 Hanyang ERICA Winter School, a two-week international programme taking place from 17–31 January 2027 at the ERICA Campus in Ansan, South Korea.

Participants can explore diverse academic fields through English-taught courses, earn up to 4 academic credits, stay in on-campus accommodation, and enjoy exciting winter activities—all in one international learning experience!

Academic Programme

Students can choose one 3-credit course and optionally add one 1-credit course.

3-credit courses:

• Understanding K-Pop Business

• Consumer Psychology

• Designing the Future: Creativity with Generative AI

• Media & Entertainment Business

• Robotics

• Understanding AI

• Semiconductor Engineering

   

Optional 1-credit courses:

• K-Pop Dance

• K-Pop Vocal

• Taekwondo

• Samulnori

• Basic Korean Language

Courses are taught in English, except for the Korean language class. From artificial intelligence and robotics to business, entertainment, and Korean culture, students can tailor their learning experience to their interests.

Cultural Activities & Campus Life

Beyond the classroom, participants can enjoy two complimentary activities included in the programme fee:

• Korean Ski Experience: Spend a day on the ski slopes, with beginners welcome.

• Everland Theme Park: Experience Korea’s largest theme park during the winter season.

   

Participants will also stay in a twin room at the on-campus dormitory for the full two weeks. Campus facilities, including a convenience store, study room, laundry, fitness center, and food court, are within easy walking distance.

Located in Ansan, the ERICA Campus is approximately 40 minutes from Gangnam, Seoul, offering opportunities to explore the surrounding area during the programme.

Programme Fees

• Students from partner university : KRW 1,700,000
• Students from non-partner university : KRW 2,200,000

The programme fee covers the application fee, tuition, on-campus accommodation, and both cultural activities. Please note that meals, insurance, and airfare are not included.

Early Bird Offer: Save KRW 100,000 by applying online by 31 October 2026 and completing payment by 6 November 2026 (KST).

No university nomination is required—students can apply directly through the programme application portal!
