Asia Summer Program (ASP) 2026 & Asian Faculty Workshop at Universiti Malaysia Perlis

Universiti Malaysia Perlis invites students and faculty members to participate in the Asia Summer Program (ASP) 2026 and the Asian Faculty Workshop (AFW), which will be held alongside the International Conference on Advanced Materials, Processing & Characterization (ICAMPC 2026).

Under the theme “Navigating Our Future Together: Youth Leadership for a Sustainable Asia,” ASP 2026 aims to promote multicultural understanding, academic collaboration, leadership development, and interdisciplinary learning among participants from across Asia and beyond.


Programme Dates:

  • Asia Summer Program (ASP): 3–16 August 2026
  • Asian Faculty Workshop (AFW) & ICAMPC 2026: 19–20 August 2026
    📍 Location: Perlis, Malaysia

 

For Students: Asia Summer Program (ASP) 2026

 

ASP 2026 is a two-week credit-bearing mobility programme that combines academic learning, cultural immersion, and community engagement.

Programme Highlights:

  • Interdisciplinary academic modules worth 2–3 transferable credits
  • Cultural activities including Batik workshops and traditional performances
  • Nature and ecological visits to destinations such as Gua Kelam and Wang Kelian
  • Community Service (CSR) activities at Pulau Tuba
  • Opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and intercultural communication skills

Participation Fee:

  • USD 850 (Hostel Package)
  • USD 1,050 (Hotel Package)

The package includes accommodation, meals, local transportation, and official programme activities.


For Faculty: AFW & ICAMPC 2026

 

The conference, themed “Future-Ready Materials: Processing, Characterization & Sustainable Innovation,” provides a platform for international academic exchange and research collaboration.

Publication Opportunity:
Accepted papers will be considered for publication in selected Scopus-indexed proceedings and journals.
