UKM Summer Programme 2026

The UKM Summer Programme 2026 is organized by the International Relations Centre (UKM Global), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). This short-term international mobility programme offers a rich combination of academic learning, cultural exploration, and experiential activities in Malaysia.

Participants will gain valuable international exposure while studying at UKM and engaging in diverse cultural and social experiences.

Programme Experience

Participants will:

  • Join interactive academic sessions led by experienced UKM faculty members
  • Participate in leadership workshops and academic discussions
  • Experience Malaysia’s cultural diversity through curated field trips and activities
  • Build global networks with students from international institutions
  • Enhance intercultural competence and global perspectives

  • Tropic Nature Heritage (TNH)
    8–21 August 2026
  • Living Heritage of Indigenous Communities (LHIC)
    8–21 August 2026
  • Summer @ Malay World
    17–26 August 2026
  • Culture, Language & Immersion Programme (CLIP)
    1–20 September 2026
  • Global Leadership Program (ULEAD)
    1–10 September 2026

Programme Highlights

  • Duration: 1–3 weeks (depending on the programme)
  • Location: Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia
  • Components: Academic lectures, leadership workshops, cultural immersion, and site visits

  • Minimum participants: 12 students per programme
  • Note: The programme will only run if the minimum number of participants is met

Eligibility (ITS Students)

Open to:

  • D4/S1 students (minimum 3rd year)
  • S2 and S3 students (all batches)

Required Documents

  1. CV
  2. Scanned passport (valid for at least 1 year)
  3. Student ID or Certificate of Enrollment
  4. Statement Letter (download: http://bit.ly/its-short-program)
  5. Learning Agreement (required only for credit transfer)
  6. Parent Support Letter (signed, confirming awareness and support)
  7. GCW/GCA Certificate (optional)

Important Dates:

  • Application Deadline: 8 June 2026 at 09:00 WIB

  • Interview Session: 9 June 2026
