Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST), South Korea, invites international undergraduate students to apply for the 2026 Summer DGIST Graduate School Research Internship Program. This 6-week research internship offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on research experience, work closely with DGIST professors, and experience academic and cultural life in Korea.
The program is designed to strengthen students’ research skills, interdisciplinary understanding, and global academic exposure through direct involvement in laboratory-based research activities.
The DGIST Research Internship for Undergraduates provides students from DGIST and partner universities worldwide the opportunity to explore interdisciplinary research topics and participate in practical research activities within DGIST’s graduate school environment.
June 29, 2026 – August 7, 2026 (6 weeks)
DGIST student dormitory provided (shared room for 2 participants)
Total support: Approximately KRW 1,560,000 per participant, including:

Participants must obtain a C-3-1 (Short-term Visit) visa prior to arrival in Korea.
Notes: Participants are responsible for international/domestic transportation, visa fees, insurance, and personal expenses.
