Vision
Department of Physics at ITS aims to become a center of education, research, and development in Physics and its applications in technology, both at the national and international levels.

Mission

  • Improve performance by striving to meet minimum service standards for routine activities in accordance with established SOPs.

  • Reform internal management and empower internal strengths.

  • Support management in strengthening international networking and promotion.

  • Develop and implement progressive and innovative programs that support ITS’s efforts to strengthen international recognition.

Bachelor of Science in Physics

Vision
To become a center for education, research, and development in Physics and its applications in technology at both national and international levels.

Mission

  • To provide undergraduate Physics education oriented toward the advancement of science and technology, with national and international quality standards.
  • To strengthen research and dissemination of Physics at the national and international levels.
  • To enhance the capacity and competence of human resources and the educational ecosystem.

Goals

  • To produce Physics graduates who are devout, ethical, and responsible, capable of demonstrating leadership and collaboration in a global context.
  • To produce Physics graduates who, at the beginning of their careers, are professionals as educators, researchers, practitioners, and entrepreneurs, utilizing their skills and knowledge in Physics—including theoretical physics, materials, instrumentation, optoelectronics, geophysics, and medical physics—for real-world applications.
  • To produce professional Physics graduates capable of communicating effectively, both in writing and verbally, in teams or as global citizens using an international language.
  • To produce Physics graduates who are capable of continuous self-development through further studies, research, and other activities, both domestically and internationally.

Objectives
The Master’s Program in Physics at ITS aims to:

  • Produce graduates with sharp analytical skills in physics who are capable of applying their knowledge in various fields.
  • Enhance individual competitiveness through the development and improvement of personal abilities in the field of physics.
  • Support the development of science and technology through research and the application of physics across various sectors.

Doctoral Program in Physics

Vision

To become a center of education, research, and development in Physics and its application in technology at both national and international levels.

Mission

  • Uphold and maintain academic, moral, and ethical values as well as strong character.
  • Conduct doctoral education in pure and applied physics in accordance with nationally and internationally recognized standard curricula.
  • Carry out innovative and up-to-date research in the field of physics, publish scientific works, and disseminate them in reputable national and international forums.
  • Establish and expand national and international research partnership networks while maintaining a conducive and sustainable academic atmosphere.
  • Conduct community service by socializing research results to the public, nation, and state to maximize the benefits of physics knowledge.
