Young generations are Indonesia’s greatest asset. In an era of globalization and worldwide market trends, ITS encourages its students not only to be satisfied with becoming employees but also to aspire to be technopreneurs. As part of this mission, ITS has established a business incubator to support students who wish to start and grow their own businesses during their academic journey.
Entrepreneurial activities organized by the Subdirectorate of Entrepreneurship and Career Development aim to foster an entrepreneurial spirit within the ITS community. These initiatives are designed to educate and nurture young entrepreneurs, equipping them to become competitive and growth-oriented business leaders. All programs are aligned with ITS’s strategic plan for entrepreneurship development, which targets the emergence of successful technology-based entrepreneurs by 2030.
Beyond mentorship, ITS also provides funding to support promising student-run businesses. Through this incubator, not only are digital start-ups developed, but also various offline businesses ranging from small-scale to large-scale enterprises.
The types of activities facilitated by the Subdirectorate include:
Entrepreneurial Student Skills Training (LKMW) is a program aimed at enhancing the entrepreneurial capabilities of ITS students in preparation for ITS’s transformation into an Entrepreneurial University. This annual program is organized by the Subdirectorate of Entrepreneurship and Career Development under the Directorate of Student Affairs (DITMAWA ITS), and is specifically designed for new ITS students.
IYT is an annual program for ITS students who run their own businesses, offering them the opportunity to receive funding support. Students whose business proposals pass the selection process will be granted funding from ITS, which is intended to help them grow and develop their enterprises.This program also includes a series of training sessions and regular monitoring and evaluation (Monev) activities, conducted over the course of one year to ensure continuous development and progress of the funded businesses.
1. Participant Requirements
Active undergraduate students (Bachelor’s/S1 or D4 programs) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)
Must provide a valid Student ID (Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa – KTM)
Maximum enrollment in the 7th semester at the time of registration
Each student is only allowed to be registered in one business team and participate in only one entrepreneurship program (either IYT or P2MW)
2. Team Requirements
Each team must consist of 1 Team Leader and 3–4 Members (total of 4–5 students per team)
Teams must include members from at least two different departments
Each team is required to have a Faculty Advisor

4. Product and Proposal Guidelines
The proposed product must be originally developed by the student team (not a franchise, reseller, consignment, or family/third-party business)
The business plan must be submitted in the form of a proposal and a pitch deck in .pdf format
P2MW is a business development program for students who already have a product prototype or have been running a business. The program provides development funding and guidance through mentoring and coaching sessions for participating student entrepreneurs.
The Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa), under the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti), offers this opportunity to eligible active undergraduate students to take part in the P2MW program.
The implementation of the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) aims to:
Increase the number of students engaged in entrepreneurship within higher education institutions;
Strengthen entrepreneurship mentoring in universities based on the development of innovative, impactful, and sustainable character; and
Reinforce the university entrepreneurial ecosystem by involving the business and industrial sectors, communities, government, and other stakeholders.
The implementation of the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) offers the following benefits:
Increasing the number of students actively involved in entrepreneurial activities;
Enhancing the capacity of higher education institutions in providing entrepreneurship development programs for students based on the principles of innovation, impact, and sustainability; and
Strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in universities through collaboration with the business and industrial sectors, communities, government, and other relevant stakeholders.
Active undergraduate students (Bachelor’s degree) registered in PDDIKTI, with a maximum enrollment in the 7th semester at the time of proposal submission;
Each student may only register under one business team and is not allowed to apply for other funding programs (e.g., PPK Ormawa or PKM);
Each student and business may participate in the P2MW program a maximum of two (2) times;
Each team must consist of a leader and 2–4 members (total of 3–5 students per team);
The proposed product must be developed by the students themselves (not a franchise, reseller, consignment business, or family/third-party business);

The HETI Student Youngpreneurship Program is an initiative by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) aimed at fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among students. This program provides support in the form of funding and business mentoring for students who aspire to develop startups based on innovation and technology. Through this program, students are expected to build sustainable businesses that deliver real impact to both the market and society.
The Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) is intended for:
Active undergraduate (S1) and applied undergraduate (D4) students who have a strong interest in entrepreneurship and technological innovation
Each team must consist of three (3) ITS students
Each team must have a Faculty Advisor
At least one team member must be female (to ensure a minimum of 32% gender representation)
Students and Faculty Advisors must not be recipients of HETI grant funding from other programs in the same fiscal year
The registered business must have at least market validation or be categorized as a Type A startup
The product (digital, physical, or service-based) is ready for use by customers
The Business Model Canvas and pitch deck have been implemented
The product has been purchased by customers / is generating revenue
The business has obtained legal status
Business activities include production, marketing, sales, after-sales service, and investment/pitching
The business team is undergoing development and expansion
