Since its establishment, the Subdirectorate of Entrepreneurship and Career Development (PK2) at ITS has played a significant role both institutionally for ITS and individually for its students and alumni. The data gathered through alumni tracking and industry collaboration can be utilized to measure user satisfaction and serve as supporting evidence for institutional accreditation. Additionally, psychological services have proven valuable in mapping the initial condition of ITS students, enabling the design of an appropriate educational process throughout their academic journey. Psychological and career counseling services have also been instrumental in helping students plan their career paths after graduation.
Various employment-related information aligned with students’ academic competencies has greatly helped bridge the gap between education and career planning from the early stages. PK2 ITS also maps the number of students who have benefited from its services, including access to psychological consultations, career guidance, and career opportunity information, both online and through ITS Career Fairs. PK2’s collaboration with industry partners, especially in the context of career fairs, has received positive responses.
Currently, PK2 ITS continues to improve the quality of its services to achieve its established vision and mission. One of the ongoing efforts includes enhancing the quality of information and communication systems for industrial collaboration, service information, graduate tracking, and the implementation of ITS Career Fairs. Other development programs include improving the quality and systems of internship programs, guest lectures, and related initiatives. Psychological services are also continuously improved based on needs assessment surveys targeting both current students and prospective graduates.
PK2 ITS is currently a member of and actively collaborates with the Indonesia Career Center Network (ICCN), an organization that brings together university career centers across Indonesia. Through this collaboration, PK2 has gained valuable insights and opportunities to share experiences with various career development centers at other higher education institutions across the country.
