Specifically designed for lecturers and tutors in higher education, this intensive training aims to equip educators with practical approaches to delivering courses in English. The program includes microteaching sessions that allow participants to sharpen their teaching techniques through structured hands-on practice and receive constructive feedback.
The training will be led by John D. Pierce, an experienced instructor in teaching English as a second and foreign language, as well as an IELTS trainer and professional educator in international academic contexts.

Day 1: Talk Time, Classroom Set-up, Scaffolding & Teacher Reflection
Day 2: Comprehensible Input, Project-Based Learning, Feedback, and Micro Teaching Planning
Day 3: Analyzing EMI Teaching, Completing Small Group EMI Practice, and Microteaching
Day 4: Lesson Planning Feedback and Micro Teaching
Day 5: Microteaching & Evaluation

Yes. Full attendance during the five days of training is a form of commitment and an essential part of the learning process. All sessions are mandatory for participants.
If a participant is unable to attend a session, please contact the organizing committee immediately via the official email or WhatsApp. Permission will only be granted for urgent and exceptional reasons, and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, the primary language of instruction for the training is English. However, the trainer is fluent in Indonesian and will provide additional explanations in Indonesian if needed.
Payment can be made until July 20, 2025.
Participants who have completed the payment will receive an official confirmation no later than July 25, 2025, via the email address provided during registration.
Yes. All participants who attend the training in full and actively participate will receive an official certificate from UPBG ITS.
Yes, lunch will be provided each day throughout the training.
Yes, the training is open to lecturers or instructors from any university, both from ITS and outside ITS.
