General Description
TEFL (ITS TOEFL-Like) is a type of English proficiency test provided by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya through the Global Language Center (UPBG). The test administered is a Paper-Based Test (PBT), conducted both onsite and digitally via the myITS Classroom platform. This test aims to assess students’ English language proficiency as a requirement for thesis submission/graduation or for internal scholarship programs.

The EFL Test consists of three main sections:
1. Listening: 50 questions (40 minutes)
Measures the ability to understand spoken English in academic contexts.
Assesses comprehension of short conversations, long dialogues, and academic discussions.
2. Structure and Written Expression: 40 questions (25 minutes)
Measures the ability to recognize grammatically correct sentence structures in English.
Focuses on sentence structure and identifying grammar usage errors in writing.
3. Reading: 50 questions (55 minutes)
Measures the ability to read and understand academic texts in English.
Focuses on identifying main ideas, details, inferences, vocabulary in context, and the author’s purpose.

If you already have an account on the GLC ITS service, simply log in using your registered username and password.
If you do not have an account, please register first.
Choose a Test Schedule
Access the Test menu in the system.
Select an available TOEFL test schedule according to your preference.
Click the Register button.
Make a Payment
After selecting a schedule, click the Proceed to Payment button.
The system will provide a Virtual Account (VA) Code.
Make the payment using the available digital or cashless payment methods.
Print the Test Card
After a successful payment, print your test card from the Test History menu.
Bring the test card with you on the day of the exam.
TOEFL ITP (Institutional Testing Program) is a version of the TOEFL test specifically designed for internal use by educational institutions such as universities, schools, other academic organizations, and companies. The EIC Test (ITS TOEIC-Like) is an English language proficiency test administered by the Global Language Center (UPBG) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). It is designed to assess English proficiency in the context of international communication. The test adopts a format similar to the TOEIC and is specifically intended to evaluate the English skills needed in global workplace environments.
The EIC Test (ITS TOEIC-Like) can be used as a graduation requirement, with a minimum score of 510 for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, and 575 for International Undergraduate Programs (IUP) and Doctoral programs. This test can also broaden employment opportunities, as many job openings seek candidates proficient in English who can contribute effectively in an internationally connected work environment. The questions are based on real workplace scenarios, providing an accurate evaluation of a person’s ability to communicate in English on the job.

EnglishScore by the British Council is a mobile-based English proficiency test designed to evaluate individual language skills quickly and flexibly. It is suitable for professional, academic, or job application purposes. The test can be conducted onsite or via proctoring (specifically for remote learning programs).
