The Faculty of Medicine and Health (FKK) ITS represents the spirit of ITS’s national contribution to the nation and country. Recognizing the concern regarding the need for professional medical personnel which is still far from sufficient, and the uneven distribution of excellent healthcare services across the country, ITS is motivated to care and actively participate in bearing the national burden by educating and producing ethical professional doctors who uphold humanitarian values and are adaptive to technological developments.

Vision and Mission

The vision of ITS Faculty of Medicine and Health is to become an excellent faculty and a national reference in education, research, and community service in the fields of medicine and health while always contributing to humanity.

This FKK vision aligns with ITS’s Vision, which is: To become a world-class university that contributes to national independence and serves as a reference in education, research, and community service as well as innovation development, especially supporting industry and maritime sectors. The keywords embedded in ITS’s Vision are “national independence” and becoming a reference in Tridharma (three pillars of higher education). These two keywords form the common thread of the ITS Faculty of Medicine and Health Vision, as we have presented in the background of the proposed establishment of the ITS Faculty of Medicine and Health.

With 2 Undergraduate Programs and 1 Professional Program, we are ready to produce ethical and humane professional doctors for the health of the Indonesian people.

Educational Support Facilities

FKK ITS has established a cooperation agreement with Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Regional General Hospital Mojokerto as the Main Teaching Hospital (RSPU). The RSPU serves as an educational facility for students of the Medical Professional Education Study Program. Through this hospital, ITS Medical Professional Education Study Program students will undergo professional education and serve as junior doctors/co-assistants for 2 years.

FKK ITS has also established partnerships with ITS Medical Center, Basoeni Hospital Mojokerto, and Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Orthopedic Hospital Surakarta to support academic activities for Faculty of Medicine and Health students. Additionally, FKK also collaborates with several community health centers (puskesmas) in the East Java region under the coordination of the Health Department.
