Along with scientific developments in lectures, the Faculty of Vocational began to initiate changes to education to achieve the vision and mission of the Faculty of Vocational that supports industrial and marine growth. For this reason, the Faculty of Vocational activates learning methods that prioritize application in the form of research for all its academics. The research culture itself can be a positive spirit to support the continuity of learning at the Faculty of Vocational.

To develop robust research culture among the academic community, the Vocational Faculty provides a variety of state-of-the-art and state-of-the-art research facilities. The Faculty of Vocational has several laboratories that support research at the lecture level to collaborate further to create research programs that impact the wider community.
