ITS Campus<\/strong> \u2014 The experience of studying abroad consistently brings positive transformation to students. This is proven by Khusniatul Ainiyah, a Master’s (S2) student from the Department of Geomatics Engineering<\/a>, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). Through the ITS Overseas Mobility Scholarship (IOMS), she successfully completed the International Joint Education Program (IJEP) at Kumamoto University, Japan.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This international mobility program, funded through the EQUITY World Class University scheme and the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), provided Khusniatul with the opportunity to directly experience the international academic rhythm. Being in a leading university environment in Japan required her to step out of her comfort zone and adapt to a new culture and work ethic.<\/p>\n

“After participating in this IJEP program, I gained invaluable experience, both in terms of academics and personal development,” expressed the student affectionately known as Khusniatul.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, she noted that interacting with academics from various national backgrounds significantly helped broaden her global perspective. The academic challenges she faced while at Kumamoto University directly encouraged the enhancement of her research and analytical skills in the field of geomatics.<\/p>\n

Beyond hard skills, Khusniatul also highlighted the development of soft skills she acquired. The adaptation process in a new environment from navigating language barriers to adjusting to differences in the educational system actually fostered a resilient mentality. “This program successfully built my confidence to interact, collaborate, and learn in an international context,” she added.<\/p>\n

Khusniatul’s success story serves as tangible proof of ITS’s commitment to producing outstanding talents ready to compete on the global stage. This strategic step, through the provision of the IOMS scholarship, is also highly aligned with the efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the 4th pillar regarding Quality Education.<\/p>\n

Full institutional support, backed by EQUITY and LPDP, is expected to continue motivating more ITS students to boldly seize international opportunities. Valuable experiences like the one achieved by Khusniatul are not merely personal accomplishments, but essential assets to contribute to the nation’s future progress.<\/p>\n
