The Civil Engineering Department which brings the vision as a Civil Engineering reference center in Indonesia which support the development of innovative infrastructure and international reputation. Besides obtaining the accreditation of A gift BAN-PT, ITS civil engineering is also the first in Indonesia who received sertivikasi ISO 9001:2000 in academics since the year 2007 to the present.
Courses offered by the Department of civil engineering is ITS undergraduate programs, master’s degree Program (S2) and Doctoral Program (Doctoral). The Civil Engineering Department which is currently supported by 6 laboratories with Expert lecturers including the following:
Laboratory provided aims to support students ‘ learning process and also aims to develop research or collaboration in ITS Civil Engineering Department.
Emphasize on service for customer satisfaction, and to aim toward international-standard laboratory.
Established initially in 1973, the Laboratory of Structure since then has performed many activities on research, testing, designing, and supervison.
This laboratory is considered as one of best in facility for soil mechanics laboratory in eastern part of Indonesia.
This Laboratory was awarded as the Second Best Laboartory 2007 within ITS.
