Melalui program Abmas yang diketuai <strong data-start=\"482\" data-end=\"515\">Vania Mitha Pratiwi, ST., MT.<\/strong>, tim menghadirkan inovasi pelapisan bahan berbasis modifikasi cat dengan <strong data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"599\">silika<\/strong> dan <strong data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"618\">nanocopper<\/strong> untuk meningkatkan ketahanan material kapal nelayan di Dusun Kertosari, Desa Kalirejo, Kecamatan Kraton, Kabupaten Pasuruan.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"1041\">Inovasi ini dirancang untuk menjawab permasalahan umum yang dihadapi nelayan, yaitu <strong data-start=\"829\" data-end=\"847\">pelapukan kayu<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"859\">korosi<\/strong>, serta <strong data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"910\">pertumbuhan mikroorganisme (biofouling)<\/strong> pada badan kapal. Kondisi tersebut sering kali menyebabkan penurunan kinerja kapal dan peningkatan biaya perawatan secara berkala.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"1041\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11531 size-large aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tmaterial\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-01-at-15.32.14-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tmaterial\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-01-at-15.32.14-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tmaterial\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-01-at-15.32.14-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tmaterial\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-01-at-15.32.14-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tmaterial\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-01-at-15.32.14-355x266.jpeg 355w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tmaterial\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-01-at-15.32.14.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1407\">Vania menjelaskan bahwa kombinasi silika dan nanocopper dalam bahan pelapis mampu meningkatkan sifat mekanik cat, sekaligus memberikan perlindungan antibakteri dan antikorosi yang lebih efektif. \u201cDengan teknologi ini, usia pakai material kapal dapat diperpanjang, sehingga nelayan dapat menghemat biaya perbaikan dan meningkatkan keselamatan operasional,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1409\" data-end=\"1731\">Program ini juga melibatkan kegiatan pendampingan bagi para nelayan terkait teknik aplikasi pelapisan yang benar, proses perawatan kapal, serta evaluasi kondisi material setelah penggunaan.
