Pada kesempatan kali ini, kegiatan menghadirkan narasumber terkemuka <strong>Associate Professor Dr. Yonrapach Areerob, Ph.D<\/strong>, yang menyampaikan kuliah umum bertema <strong>\u201cNext-Gen Advanced Polymers: The Future Innovations for the Future of Smart Materials.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan pada <strong>Senin, 5 Mei 2025<\/strong>, di <strong>Gedung ITS Research Center Lantai 1, Kampus ITS<\/strong>, ini mendapat antusiasme tinggi dari mahasiswa, dosen, dan peneliti yang tertarik dengan perkembangan material masa depan, khususnya <strong>polimer canggih<\/strong> yang menjadi kunci dalam pengembangan <em>smart materials<\/em> dan teknologi berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam paparannya, Dr. Yonrapach Areerob menjelaskan bahwa polimer generasi baru tidak hanya digunakan untuk produk sehari-hari, tetapi juga menjadi <strong>material inti dalam berbagai aplikasi teknologi canggih<\/strong>, seperti perangkat medis pintar, sensor fleksibel, robotika lunak, dan kendaraan listrik.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPemanfaatan polimer harus dilakukan secara lebih optimal dan berorientasi pada keberlanjutan. Material cerdas berbasis polimer akan memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk dunia industri masa depan,\u201d ungkap Dr. Yonrapach.<\/p>\n<p>Beliau juga menyoroti tantangan global dalam <strong>daur ulang dan rekayasa molekuler polimer<\/strong>, di mana riset terkini diarahkan pada pengembangan material yang lebih ramah lingkungan tanpa mengorbankan performa teknisnya.
