Acara ini merupakan inisiasi dari salah satu Guru Besar DTK yang sedang menjabat sebagai Direkrur Eksekutif The Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security (CTI-CFF), \u00a0Prof. Widi Agoes Pratikto, Ph.D. Menurutnya kawasan Segitiga Terumbu karang merupakan daerah paling rentan terhadap dampak perubahan iklim, termasuk di dalamnya adalah Indonesia dan Malaysia. Oleh karena itu besar harapannya agar ITS dan UMT merumuskan solusi dengan membentuk kerjasama.<!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_629\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-629\" style=\"width: 1032px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/oe.its.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/5-1.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-629 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/oe.its.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/5-1.png\" alt=\"5\" width=\"1032\" height=\"774\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-629\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Proses Berlangsungnya Acara Penandatangan MoU ITS dan UMT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_628\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-628\" style=\"width: 1032px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/oe.its.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/6-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-628 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/oe.its.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/6-1.png\" alt=\"6\" width=\"1032\" height=\"774\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-628\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Prof. Widi Agoes Pratikto, Ph.D. merupakan Dosen DTK yg menginisiasi terjalinnya kerjasama antara ITS dengan UMT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Hal ini didukung oleh Rektor ITS, Prof Ir Joni Hermana MSc ES PhD., &#8220;CTI-CFF ingin mengimplementasikan beberapa programnya. Salah satunya adalah masalah perubahan iklim. Penelitian tersebut membutuhkan kerja sama dengan pihak akademisi, dalam hal ini mereka mendorong UMT dan ITS untuk bekerja sama,&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dekan Teknik Kelautan UMT, Prof Ahmad Bin Jusoh juga turut mendukung dengan berharap hubungan kerja sama antara ITS dengan UMT akan semakin erat. &#8220;Dengan adanya kerja sama ini kami berharap mendapatkan bimbingan dan dukungan dari ITS, misalnya dengan mengadakan pertukaran tenaga pelajar maupun mahasiswa,&#8221; pungkasnya.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Surabaya (11\/8) ITS, Coral Triangle Initiative (CTI) dan Universiti Malaysia Trengganu (UMT) menyelenggarakan penandatanganan MoU yang meresmikan kerjasamanya di antara ketiganya.
