Departemen Teknik Kelautan didukung oleh tenaga pendidik Profesional yaitu 6 Professor, 13 Doktor dan 7 Master. Program Studi di bawah Departemen Teknik Kelautan FTK-ITS telah mendapatkan kualifikasi UNGGUL dari Badan Akriditasi Nasional ( BAN ), LAM TEKNIK, telah terakreditasi Badan Akreditasi Internasional yaitu IABEE dan ASIIN, serta sebelumnya pernah mendapatkan pengakukan kesetaraan dari Perguruan Tinggi Sejenis di Inggris yaitu University Newcastle Upon Tyne<\/em>, serta asosisasi professional yaitu The Royal Institute of Naval Architecs<\/em> ( RINA ) dan The Institute Marine Engineering Science and Technology<\/em> ( IMAREST).<\/p>\n

Departemen Teknik Kelautan telah membuka program studi Sarjana Teknik Kelautan sejak tahun 1983, program Magister Teknik Kelautan sejak tahun ajaran 1996\/1997, program Doktoral sejak tahun ajaran 2004\/2005 dan program Sarjana Teknik Lepas Pantai sejak tahun 2021.<\/p>\n
