The Department of Civil Infrastructure Engineering, Faculty of Vocational Studies, ITS once again held the Applied Bachelor’s Final Project Examination in the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This academic activity represents the final stage that students must complete as a form of scientific accountability for the applied learning process before earning the applied bachelor’s degree and entering the professional workforce.

Prior to the examination, each student had undergone an intensive Final Project supervision process under the guidance of one or two academic supervisors in accordance with their field of expertise. This supervision process covered topic selection, data collection and processing, technical analysis, and the preparation of the final report. Through these stages, students were guided to produce applied, solution-oriented work that is relevant to real-world challenges in the field of civil infrastructure.

The Final Project Examination was conducted in a scheduled, orderly, and conducive manner, fostering an academic atmosphere that demanded precision, confidence, and strong scientific communication skills. During the examination, students presented their Final Project outcomes before an examination panel consisting of three examiners, excluding the academic supervisors. The examiners provided questions, clarifications, and constructive feedback to assess the students’ mastery of the subject matter, depth of analysis, and readiness to implement the proposed technical solutions.

For the Water Resources and Building Construction Engineering Technology Study Program (TRKBA), the examination was held on Monday, January 6, 2026, from 08:00 to 15:00 WIB, involving three students in Room 4, divided into three sessions of two hours each. The examination continued on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 08:00 to 16:00 WIB, with four students, also in Room 4, conducted in four two-hour sessions.

Meanwhile, the Civil Engineering Study Program conducted the Final Project Examination on Monday, January 12, 2026, and Tuesday, January 13, 2026. On Monday, January 12, 2026, two students undertook the examination in Room 1 from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB, while three students were examined in Room 2 from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB. Furthermore, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, three students participated in the examination in Room 3 from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB, with all sessions lasting two hours each.

The Final Project Examination serves as an important moment for students to demonstrate the results of their hard work, discipline, and competencies developed throughout their academic journey. To all students currently undertaking the examination, remain calm, trust in your abilities, and present your work in a systematic and well-argued manner. Treat every piece of feedback from the examiners as valuable input for personal and professional growth. May the entire examination process proceed smoothly and mark the first step toward becoming competent, professional, and integrity-driven graduates who bring pride to ITS.
