Alhamdulillah, barakallah! The end of 2024 marks a proud moment for the entire academic community of the Department of Civil Infrastructure Engineering (DTIS), Faculty of Vocational Studies, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). The Civil Engineering Study Program in the Applied Bachelor Program has successfully achieved UNGGUL accreditation (excellent) from the Independent Accreditation Institution (LAM) Teknik, based on Decision No. 0702/SK/LAM Teknik/VST/XII/2024.
This extraordinary achievement is the result of hard work and dedication from the entire team, who have devoted their time and energy to compiling the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and Self-Evaluation Report (LED). Led by Mr. Yosi, the Accreditation Team, along with young and dynamic lecturers, demonstrated exceptional commitment in ensuring that every aspect of quality assurance was met, from the initial preparation to the visitation phase.
This success could not have been achieved without the full support of various parties, including the Department Secretary, Study Program Head, Sub-Department Head, Laboratory Heads, lecturers, and staff of DTIS who worked synergistically. Deep gratitude is also extended to Prof. M. Sigit Darmawan, Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Studies; Dr. Machsus, ST., MT., Vice Rector II of ITS; Prof. Kuntjoro; Ir. Chomaedhi, CES.Geo.; and all other contributors whose efforts played a significant role in this journey.
The UNGGUL accreditation is not just a recognition but a profound mandate to continuously maintain quality, foster innovation, and make meaningful contributions to society. This achievement serves as tangible proof of DTIS ITS’s commitment to providing high-quality education, promoting research, and delivering impactful community services.
