In an effort to strengthen international cooperation and enhance the international atmosphere at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), a short-term program entitled CommTECH Camp Insight 2026 Stream 1: Technology Innovations was organized. The program was attended by 40 students from ITS partner and non-partner institutions from Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, and Russia. The session featured a lecture by Ms. Ragil focusing on innovations in building and structural engineering. This program is part of ITS’s commitment to continuously expanding its global network while providing international-standard academic experiences for students, faculty members, and overseas partners.
CommTECH Camp Insight 2026 Stream 1 is designed as a platform for knowledge and cultural exchange, bringing together participants from various countries with the ITS academic community. Through this program, ITS showcases its academic excellence, research achievements, and technological innovations developed within the campus, particularly in the fields of technology and engineering. The main focus on the theme Technology Innovations reflects ITS’s role as a science- and technology-based university oriented toward providing solutions to global challenges.
Throughout the program, participants engage in a range of structured and interactive academic and non-academic activities. Academic activities include short lectures delivered by ITS lecturers and researchers, thematic discussions, and case studies related to current technological innovations, such as sustainable technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and solution-based engineering. These sessions are expected to provide participants with comprehensive insights into the application of technology in both global and local contexts.
In addition, the program enriches participants’ experiences through non-academic activities, including introductions to Indonesian culture, visits to ITS flagship facilities, and direct interactions with international students and ITS students. These activities aim to foster cross-cultural understanding, strengthen international networks, and create an inclusive and collaborative academic environment.
The implementation of CommTECH Camp Insight 2026 Stream 1: Technology Innovations is expected to enhance ITS’s international visibility and open opportunities for further collaboration in education, research, and innovation. The program also serves as a strategic platform to promote campus internationalization, improve ITS’s global competitiveness, and prepare young generations who are adaptive, globally minded, and ready to contribute to future technological development.
Through this program, ITS reaffirms its role as a higher education institution that actively contributes to strengthening international networks and advancing sustainable technological innovation.
