Surabaya<\/strong> \u2013 The Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Technology and Smart Informatics, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), has strengthened its commitment to implementing K3L (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection) in the learning process by providing training and certification for General OHS Experts to 10 staff members consisting of lecturers and education personnel.
\nThe 10 lecturers and education staff members are:<\/p>\n

  5. Dr. techn. Prasetiyono Hari Mukti, S.T., M.T.<\/li>\n
  6. Feby Agung Pamuji, S.T., M.T., Ph.D<\/li>\n
  7. Dr. Daniar Fahmi, S.T., M.T.<\/li>\n
  8. Yurid Eka Nugraha, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D<\/li>\n
  9. Muhammad Fatih Fadli Izza, S.T.<\/li>\n
  10. Agatha Rama Annata, S.T.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In addition to ensuring the implementation of K3L within the ITS Department of Electrical Engineering, the training and certification for General Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Experts were also conducted to support Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11, namely Sustainable Cities and Communities.<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    The activity, held from November 3\u20137, 2025, was conducted in-house at the ITS Department of Electrical Engineering. It began with training or workshops that included theoretical and practical sessions on General Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) for the participants. The materials covered included Identification of Hazards and Risks, Formulation of Safety Procedures, Emergency Response Procedures, and Development of OHS Communication. After completing the training, participants underwent a General OHS Expert Competency Test conducted by BSNP assessors. In the end, 10 participants were declared competent as General OHS Experts.<\/p>\n

    Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Ronny Mardiyanto, ST, MT, Ph.D, expressed his commitment and appreciation for the organization of this training and certification. \u201cThe Department of Electrical Engineering ITS is committed to implementing K3L (Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Protection) within the campus environment. The department continues to strive to improve safety and health in academic processes within the department.
