Solar panels are used in several places such as the Research Building, Rectorate, Robotics, urban farming, Department of Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and Engineering Physics. ITS solar panels are also spread across several Public Street Lighting (PJU). Biogas from ITS instrumentation and gasification engineering has not been operating since the pandemic.<\/li><\/ol><p>The significant increase is due to the additional renewable energy sourced from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/inspirasi\/reidi\/\">Renewable Energy Integration Demonstrator \u2013 Indonesia (REIDI)<\/a>\u00a0project at ITS Surabaya, which became fully operational in 2025. REIDI is the largest research, demonstration, training and testing facility in Indonesia related to new renewable energy (EBT) systems which is located on the ITS Campus, Surabaya with a total area of \u200b\u200b1.5 hectares. Apart from electricity generation infrastructure, REIDI is also developing an agrivoltaic system and eco campus so that it synergizes with an EBT-based generation system.
