ITS with its “Advancing Humanity” motto has a policy on ending discrimination in the workplace (including discrimination based on religion, sexuality, gender, or age), as well as a policy against forced labor, modern slavery, human trafficking, and child labor. The commitment is shown by the establishment of the Regulation of ITS Rector No. 25 Year 2021 about Second Amendment to the Regulation of ITS Rector No. 2 Year 2017 about Employment at ITS.
Article 8 point 1 states that employee recruitment shall occur with the principles of non-discrimination, openness, not discriminating based on ethnicity, religion, race, or class, paying attention to gender equality and justice, and carried out in line with the needs of the organization. Article 8 point 2 additionally endorses the motto “Advancing Humanity” by stating that recruiting is done without the use of forced labor, slavery, child labor, or human trafficking.
