Majelis Wali Amanat (MWA) is an ITS organization that carries out the functions of determining, giving consideration to the implementation of general policies, and carrying out supervision in the non-academic field. MWA-ITS membership is regulated in Regulation of WMA-ITS No. 5 Year 2016 about Procedures for Appointment and Dismissal of MWA-ITS Members. MWA-ITS membership consists of Ex-officio members, members, and honorary members.
The prerequisites for MWA-ITS members are outlined in Article 5 of Regulation of WMA-ITS No. 5 Year 2016. MWA-ITS is opened to all members of the academic community, including lecturers, staff, and students. The general and specific requirements for prospective MWA-ITS members do not mention certain genders so that it can be concluded that there is gender equality in MWA-ITS membership.
