Kampus ITS, ITS News \u2014<\/strong> Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> terus menguatkan komitmennya dalam mendorong keberlanjutan lingkungan kampus. Hal ini diwujudkan melalui sosialisasi dan pemasangan smart energy monitoring system<\/em> di gedung-gedung ITS guna memantau konsumsi dan biaya listrik, Jumat (9\/10).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kepala Laboratorium Instrumentasi Pengendalian Departemen Teknik Instrumentasi ITS<\/a> Dr Ir Totok Soehartanto DEA menjelaskan, inovasi ini dirancang untuk mewujudkan bangunan rendah karbon. Melalui pendekatan desain interaktif, sistem ini memonitor pemakaian beban listrik gedung seperti pendingin ruangan, lampu, dan lift. \u201cSistem mengakuisisi data dari setiap beban listrik menggunakan jaringan komunikasi nirkabel maupun kabel,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Totok memaparkan bahwa sistem pemantau tersebut mampu mengukur berbagai parameter energi secara rinci. Parameter terukur tersebut di antaranya meliputi nilai tegangan, arus, daya, energi, hingga faktor daya kelistrikan. Selain itu, sistem juga mampu menghitung Energy Efficiency Index<\/em> (EEI) untuk menentukan tingkat efisiensi penggunaan energi suatu bangunan.<\/p>\n

Asisten Laboratorium Pengendalian Departemen Teknik Instrumentasi ITS Mochammad Sofiyur Rochman menambahkan, alat pemantau dari sistem ini dirangkai bersama rangkaian listrik gedung. Seluruh rekaman data yang dihimpun kemudian diintegrasikan dan ditampilkan melalui dasbor pemantauan informatif. \u201cSecara keseluruhan, inovasi ini sangat mendukung perwujudan konsep bangunan hijau,\u201d tegasnya.<\/p>\n

Kehadiran sistem pemantauan energi pintar ini sejalan dengan langkah nyata ITS dalam implementasi Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) di lingkungan kampus. Terobosan ini secara langsung mendukung SDGs poin ke-7 tentang Energi Bersih dan Terjangkau. Selain itu, pemantauan ini turut menyukseskan SDGs poin ke-13 tentang Penanganan Perubahan Iklim sebagai langkah nyata kampus menuju target nyaris nol emisi pada tahun 2030 mendatang.
