The iCar operates using a combination of technologies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). The iCar’s control system consists of numerous complex subsystems that enable it to operate autonomously. It can interpret environmental conditions by combining data from sensors. Sensor fusion algorithms are designed to complement each sensor’s data. The iCar’s software is crafted in a way that allows it to operate safely and automatically. \nThe iCar can operate automatically without a driver, equipped with advanced sensors. It can navigate towards its destination safely, as it recognizes and adapts to the dynamic environment.<\/li>\n
\nEquipped with a combination of sensors such as LiDAR, stereo cameras, and ultrasonic radar, the iCar can recognize its surroundings and avoid, stop, or slow down if obstacles are in its path. The intelligent system ensures that the iCar can travel to its destination safely and comfortably.<\/li>\n
\nThe iCar utilizes LiFePO4 batteries and is equipped with various protections, including active cell balancing and overvoltage protection. It can cover a maximum distance of 100 km on a single charge, with a charging time of approximately 6 hours.<\/li>\n
\nIntegrated with a map of the ITS campus environment, this feature assists the iCar in following predetermined routes.
