Unfortunately, the facilities for remote learning are not yet fully available in remote, frontier, and outermost areas (3T). ITS Tekno Sains, in collaboration with PT Panggung Electric Citrabuana, has developed the Digital Transformation Services of ITS (DigITS) tablet for students in the 3T regions.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The digITS tablet is the result of the red and white laptop program assigned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek RI) and has received the Anugerah Prioritas Nasional (National Priority Award) as a Higher Education Institution with Innovations in Red and White Technology Devices in 2022. Five thousand (5000) units have been distributed to students in the 3T areas to improve their access to learning. The development of this tablet also contributes to increasing the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of the electronic industry in Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Various services are available on the digITS tablet. The first service is “digITS Apps,” where users can regularly update the digITS applications on their devices. This service functions similarly to a “mini playstore” found on Android mobile devices. In the future, various applications developed by ITS innovators can be used and downloaded through digITS. The second service is “SatuDikti,” an integrated platform to support various services in higher education with Dikti (Directorate General of Higher Education). Next is the catalog service, which contains teaching materials and digital learning resources from various study programs. This catalog is curated from SPADADIKTI, the online learning system of the Directorate General of Higher Education. Lastly, there is the “idREN” or Indonesian Research and Education Network service. idREN is a special network infrastructure that connects research and educational institutions and communities in Indonesia.
