DIKST menyiapkan proses pendampingan hilirisasi ataupun komersialisasi produk inovatif agar dapat diterima industri dan memasuki pasar. Untuk mendukung kegiatan ini DIKST memberikan fasilitas kepada periset/penemu/inovator, diantaranya: Kantor Transfer Teknologi DIKST, Inkubator dan Akselerator, Pemodalan, serta dukungan Kawasan Sains Teknologi yang terdiri dari Klaster Maritim, Klaster Desain Kreatif, Klaster TIK dan Robotika, serta Klaster Otomotif.
