Reijers<\/span><\/span> as the keynote speaker and was moderated by <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Prof. Mahendrawathi ER<\/span><\/span>. The event brought together students, faculty members, and researchers interested in Business Process Management, Process Mining, and Digital Transformation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"675\" data-end=\"1112\">During his presentation, Prof. Hajo A. Reijers explored the evolution of <strong data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"767\">Process Science<\/strong>, tracing its development from its early foundations to its current role in supporting data-driven organizations. He discussed how Process Science has evolved into an interdisciplinary field that combines business process management, data analytics, and information technology to improve organizational performance and operational excellence. \ud83d\udcca<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1538\">The lecture also highlighted emerging trends shaping the future of the discipline, including the integration of <strong data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1244\">process mining<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1278\">artificial intelligence (AI)<\/strong>, and advanced analytics. According to Prof. Reijers, these technologies are transforming the way organizations analyze, monitor, and optimize business processes, enabling more informed decision-making and accelerating digital transformation across industries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1908\">The interactive discussion session, moderated by Prof. Mahendrawathi ER, provided participants with the opportunity to engage directly with the speaker.
