Pada tanggal 10 Agustus 2024, Departemen Sistem Informasi Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) menggelar acara khusus untuk menyambut orang tua mahasiswa baru dari beberapa program studi di bawah naungannya. Acara ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan lingkungan akademik serta menjalin komunikasi yang baik antara pihak departemen dengan orang tua mahasiswa.

\nOrang tua yang diundang dalam acara ini berasal dari tiga program studi, yaitu Program Studi S1 Sistem Informasi, S1 Sistem Informasi International, dan S1 Inovasi Digital. Acara ini diadakan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada orang tua mengenai kurikulum, fasilitas, serta layanan yang tersedia di departemen, sehingga mereka dapat mendukung putra-putri mereka dalam menjalani proses perkuliahan dengan baik.

\nDalam sambutannya, Kepala Departemen Sistem Informasi ITS, Dr. Mudjahidin, ST., MT., menyampaikan pentingnya peran orang tua dalam mendampingi mahasiswa baru. “Kerjasama yang baik antara orang tua, mahasiswa, dan pihak departemen adalah kunci untuk mencapai kesuksesan dalam pendidikan tinggi. Melalui acara ini, kami berharap orang tua dapat lebih memahami peran mereka dan apa yang diharapkan dari mahasiswa selama masa studi,” ujarnya.<\/p>\n

\nAcara yang berlangsung di Aula Departemen Sistem Informasi ITS ini diisi dengan presentasi dari masing-masing program studi, diskusi panel, serta sesi tanya jawab. Para orang tua tampak antusias mengikuti rangkaian acara, yang ditutup dengan tur singkat ke fasilitas kampus.<\/p>\n
