she explained.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\">Wiwik also explained, that Malang became one of the cities with a high level of dengue fever.<\/span> <span title=\"\">During January 2019, 72 people in Malang had been infected with dengue fever.<\/span> <span title=\"\">Therefore, Wiwik and the team chose Malang as the first research experiment.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">&#8220;But it does not rule out the possibility that the application of e-jatim sehat can be applied to various regions in Indonesia,&#8221; said<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Wiwik explained, this research he began in 2016 with his team from the ITS Information System in Higher Education Applied Research (PTUPT) which was previously under the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti).<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">&#8220;The initial research of this application is still limited to prediction and vialalization, now we have developed it by adding a Decision Support System (DSS),&#8221; explained the ITS information systems alumni.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Wiwik also explained, besides having a DSS to support the mitigation of the spread of dengue fever.<\/span> <span title=\"\">This Healthy e-East Java application also involves many factors in predicting the spread of <span class=\"\" title=\"\">dengue fever<\/span>, so that the data obtained is more accurate.<\/span> <span title=\"\">&#8220;These factors include climate, temperature, rainfall, wind speed, regional topography, and population,&#8221;
