ITS Electrical Engineering was founded in 1960 and has gained Accreditation A (Quite Good) from BAN-PT.

Students are directed to have a basic competence in the field of Electrical Technology, Communication and Information, as well as one of the five subject areas of expertise namely Electronics, Control System Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Multimedia, Computer Engineering and Telematics.

ITS graduate of Electrical Engineering is required in all sectors, especially energy and ICT. Average of 50 percent of graduates has been recruited by the company prior to graduation, or 87 percent of the graduates have been working with a waiting period of less than 6 months. In addition to the regular program, ITS Electrical Engineering Double Degree program also organizes S1 with Fontys, Netherlands, Double Degree S2 Darmstadt, Germany, and the Double Degree S3 with NTUST, Taiwan.
