Environmental Engineering

Founded in 1983, formerly known as Study Programme Sanitary Engineering, and change to its current name since 1992, Department of Environmental Engineering (DEE) has three core competencies:  Environmental infrastructure provision, environmental protection, and environmental remediation. Environmental infrastructure includes water supply system, sewerage system, solid waste and hazardous waste management system.

DEE has doctoral, magister and bachelor programs which were established in 2009, 1999, and 1992, respectively. All the study programs have an A accreditation from the BAN-PT, except accreditation B for the doctoral program, which shows the good proficiency of our learning system. We are committed to developing internationally recognized academic institution by offering some courses delivered in English, such as water supply system, environmental chemistry, community-based sanitation, community-based solid waste management, etc.
