Department of Information Systems ITS (FTIf) is purposely constructed as the center of excellence for education information system that can help performance improvement of the company through the use of information technology (IT). Given lectures are focused to help student to obtain business information, initiatives and competitive advantages, such as Functional Business Systems, Information and Communication Technology, Processes and IT organizations, Information Systems Development, Web Based Programming, IT Project Management, Database Management, Network Design and Management, IT Service Management, IT Risk Management, Information Systems Strategic Planning, IT investment, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Management Science, Business Intelligence, Asset Protection Information, IT Governance and Audit, Monitoring and Evaluation of IT, and Professional Ethics.

Department of Information Systems graduates are pertinent for business, since IT is a solution to enhance business processes and encourage the creation of new businesses. Graduates are capable to work as managers, entrepreneurs, consultants, academics and IT professionals such as IT managers, IT project managers, ERP consultants, systems analyst, systems programmer, systems administrator, security administrator, quality assurance and IT auditor in various banking, finance, insurance, manufacturing, retail, public education service, government, research, and others.
