Mahasiswa ITS dari Departemen Transportasi Laut dan Departemen Teknik Perkapalan ITS berhasil meraih posisi terbaik untuk KETIGA KALINYA dalam 3 tahun berturut-turut dalam GREEN WAVE ENVIRONMENTAL CARE COMPETITION 2017 yang diselenggarakan oleh Sembcorp Marine\u2019s School Environmental Care Project Committee, Singapura. Penyerahan penghargaan bagi para pemenang dilaksanakan dalam Acara Penganugerahan Pemenang pada tanggal 2 Februari 2018 di Marina Mandarin Singapura. Para pemenang mendapatkan penghargaan langsung oleh Menteri Lingkungan dan Sumberdaya Air Singapura, Mr. Masagos Zulkifli, sementara Tim Mahasiswa ITS juga didampingi oleh para Dosen Pembimbingnya dan disaksikan oleh Rektor ITS yang juga turut berkenan hadir.<\/p>\n

Kompetisi yang diadakan untuk ke 15 kalinya ini, baru diikuti mahasiswa ITS sejak 4 tahun lalu. Sejak itulah Juaranya selalu diraih Mahasiswa ITS, padahal pesertanya selain dari Singapura, juga diikuti oleh beberapa negara ASEAN lainnya. Juri yang untuk lomba ini, berasal dari Sembawang Corp, Shell, BP dan juga Kementrian di Singapura sendiri.<\/p>\n

JUARA 1 (Kategori Tertiary Level)<\/h3>\n

Juara 1 untuk kategory Tertiary Level berhasil diraih oleh Tim 1 Coco Fibers Converter (COFITER), dengan judul proyek: \u201cIntegrated Machine to Convert Coco Fibers into Green Concrete Rooftop\u201d. Nama anggota Tim adalah sbb:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
