The Department of Marine Transportation Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), officially signed a cooperation agreement for a Double Degree Master\u2019s Program with Hochschule Wismar \u2013 University of Applied Sciences<\/span><\/span>, Germany. This strategic collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening the internationalization of higher education and enhancing the global competitiveness of graduates.<\/p>\n

The Double Degree Master\u2019s Program in Marine Transportation Engineering is designed under a two-year study scheme. In the first year, students will undertake academic coursework at ITS with an internationally oriented curriculum. In the second year, students will continue their studies at Hochschule Wismar, where they will deepen their expertise and engage in applied research within a global academic environment.<\/p>\n

The signing ceremony was also attended by Ralf Beste<\/span><\/span>, Ambassador of Germany to Indonesia, and Christopher Tjokrosetio<\/span><\/span>, Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany. The presence of these distinguished diplomatic representatives underscored the strong support for strengthening educational cooperation between Indonesia and Germany.<\/p>\n

This partnership encompasses joint curriculum development, collaborative research initiatives, faculty and student exchanges, as well as the expansion of international maritime industry networks. Through this synergy, both institutions are committed to producing graduates who excel in maritime traffic and shipping, maritime port and logistics, and maritime administration and authority.<\/p>\n

The signing of this agreement reaffirms ITS\u2019s commitment to delivering adaptive, collaborative, and globally oriented higher education, in line with its vision to develop professional, innovative, and internationally competitive maritime human resources.<\/p>\n
