    Unlike other engineering programs that are more product-oriented<\/strong>, marine transportation engineering is more function- and demand-oriented<\/strong>. The functions that become the main focus of marine transportation engineering are derived from users\u2019 needs in the maritime transportation process, both at the macro and micro levels.<\/p>\n

    Since the primary products associated with the field of marine transportation engineering are ships and ports<\/strong>, there is a strong interconnection between marine transportation engineering, naval architecture, and civil engineering.<\/p>\n
