Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), through its Directorate of Human Resources and Organization (DSDMO), held the official Oath-Taking Ceremony for Civil Servants, Permanent Non-Civil Servant Staff, as well as the Inauguration and Oath-Taking of Structural and First-Level Functional Officials on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Grha ITS. The ceremony was led directly by the Rector of ITS, Prof. Bambang Pramujati, and attended by ITS leaders, faculty members, and administrative staff.

This ceremony was part of the fulfillment of national regulations regarding the appointment of employees and officials within the institution. By taking the oath, each newly appointed staff member and official is expected to carry out their duties and responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to honesty and service to both the nation and the institution.

During the solemn proceedings, a total of 77 Civil Servants, 53 Permanent Non-Civil Servant Staff, 21 Structural Officials, and 102 First-Level Functional Officials were officially inaugurated. The event began with an opening session, followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya and the ITS Hymn. Afterwards, the Rector’s Decree on appointments was read aloud, followed by the oath-taking sessions for Civil Servants, Non-Civil Servant Staff, Structural Officials, and First-Level Functional Officials.

As part of the program, all inaugurated officials signed the official oath-taking documents. The inauguration continued with the reading of the appointment decree, conducted in a formal and dignified manner. One of the highlights of the event was the symbolic presentation of the chain of office to the Dean of the ITS School of Interdisciplinary Management and Technology by the Rector. The ceremony then continued with a speech from the Rector, the announcement of the best participants from the Non-Civil Servant Basic Training program, and concluded with prayers and congratulations from ITS leadership to all newly appointed staff and officials.

The oath-taking ceremony was also formally witnessed by two professors, Prof. Sri Gunani Partiwi and Prof. Trika Pitana, who signed the official documents as witnesses. This process not only provides legal validity but also formal recognition for the newly appointed employees and officials, enabling them to officially assume their roles and responsibilities while strengthening organizational governance within ITS.

With the inauguration of Civil Servants, Permanent Non-Civil Servant Staff, Structural Officials, and First-Level Functional Officials, ITS hopes that all newly appointed personnel will quickly adapt to their new responsibilities. This milestone also marks a significant step in strengthening the institutional capacity of ITS to contribute more effectively in education, research, and community service, both at the national and international levels.
