5s + S

The 5S+S Work Culture is an adaptation and development of the original 5S concept, tailored to the characteristics of the work environment at ITS to support ITS’s efforts in increasing productivity.

The implementation of the ITS work culture is one of the aspects evaluated in the performance assessment for all Educational Staff (Tendik) at ITS, including structural staff. The 5S+S assessment serves as one of the performance indicators in the individual performance evaluation system for educational staff, aiming to foster productivity and innovation.

• SORT (Sisih)
  The activity of removing unnecessary items so that only items that are truly needed remain in the workplace.
• SET IN ORDER (Susun)
  Everything must be placed in the designated position so it is ready to use whenever needed.
• SHINE (Sapu)
  The activity of cleaning tools and the work area to ensure all work equipment remains in good condition.
• STANDARDIZE (Standar)
  The activity of maintaining personal cleanliness while also complying with the previous three stages.
• SUSTAIN (Sinambung)
  Maintaining personal discipline of each worker in carrying out all stages of 5S+S.
• SAFETY (Selamat)
  A condition that will occur when all five previous stages of 5S implementation are carried out properly and correctly.
