ITS Campus, 20 November 2025 — The Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), through the Directorate of Human Resources and Organization (SDMO), conducted the Basic Competency Test (SKD) and Field Competency Test (SKB) as part of the 2025 Recruitment for Permanent Non-Civil Servant Education Personnel. The tests were held across several locations, including the Actuarial Laboratory (Room 904), the Digital Education Services Laboratories (Rooms 901, 903, and 905) on the 9th floor of Tower 1 (Science Tower), the Risk Management and Data Analytics Laboratory (Room 104) on the 1st floor of Tower 1, and the Multimedia Laboratory on the 2nd floor of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
The tests aim to assess the applicants’ basic competencies and technical skills based on the requirements of the respective positions. In addition to selecting qualified education personnel, the activity is designed to ensure that the recruitment process is objective, measurable, and aligned with ITS’s internal quality standards. The implementation of the SKD and SKB serves as a crucial step in ensuring that vacant positions are filled by individuals capable of supporting the smooth operation of academic services, administrative processes, and overall institutional workflow.
Strict supervision was carried out throughout the test sessions to maintain the integrity of the selection process. All activities were conducted onsite using the ITS Computer-Based Test (CBT) system, with proctors monitoring each testing room closely. Participants followed the procedures without access to the internet or other assisting tools. The entire implementation proceeded smoothly with no late arrivals.
As part of its effort to fulfill the need for high-quality human resources, ITS seeks to recruit permanent non-PNS education personnel who not only meet technical competency standards but also demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and the ability to support academic and administrative operations effectively. This selection stage serves as a key mechanism for strengthening institutional governance and campus services, while supporting ITS’s vision of becoming a world-class university that contributes meaningfully to national development and educational advancement.
Through a standardized and transparent recruitment process, ITS aims to secure human resources capable of enhancing campus services comprehensively. This initiative also supports the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education) by improving the quality of educational services, as well as SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by providing decent employment opportunities for qualified individuals.
