Each semester consists of a lecture period, midterm exams, final exams, and holidays between semesters. In odd semesters, lecture activities usually start in August and last until December, while even semesters start in January and end in May. Midterm exams are held in the middle of the semester, and final exams are held at the end of the lecture period.
