Traffic congestion, air and noise pollution, traffic accidents, and delays are some of the transportation issues that Kubu Raya Regency faces. To address traffic issues at signalized junctions in Kubu Raya Regency, this study intends to provide the idea of implementing the Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) at signalized intersections at the research location which still use pretimed traffic signals. There are two intersections where the ATCS is applied: Major Alianyang-Adi Sucipto and Major Alianyang-Raya Desa Kapur. Intersection performance is analyzed using the MKJI 1997 and PTV VISSIM Software approaches. Wednesday and Saturday were the busiest days for conducting the survey.
