Taking place at the BSI UMKM Center located at Jalan Kartini No. 107 Surabaya, the first training related to reaping blessings with halal products has been carried out. The present speakers were Prof. Setiyo Gunawan (Head of the ITS Halal Study Center) and Nasta Rofika ST (1st Winner of BSI Entrepreneurial Talent). In his presentation, Prof Gunawan explained about four challenges for MSMEs, namely:
1. Capability Improvement: In managing the business

– Cooperation (Cooperative)
– Digitization
2. Product Quality: Safe and Halal
– Security (Marketing Permit, Hygiene-Sanitation, NKV)
– Halal
3. Access to Finance: Still limited
– Non-bankable
4. Market Access: Domestic and Overseas
The Halal Community Engagement Center at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) has a training program related to the above, which is packaged in a workshop for Halal driving cadres and mentoring business actors.
