The ITS Halal Study Center was inaugurated on March 24, 2016 and ratified as a study center at ITS by the Chancellor’s Decree on October 24, 2016. The MISSIONS of the ITS Halal Study Center (ITS Halal) are:

1. Build public awareness and commitment to halal products through information, training, education, and assistance in guaranteeing halal products for the people of Indonesia and the world
2. Develop halal studies in the fields of food, medicine, cosmetics, media, entertainment, finance, fashion, and tourism for the advancement of halal Indonesia and the world
3. Collaborating with the business world, Islamic institutions and mass organizations in welcoming the era of the halal industry both on a national and international scale
