The ITS Halal Study Center was inaugurated on March 24, 2016 and ratified as a study center at ITS by the Chancellor’s Decree on October 24, 2016. The MISSIONS of the ITS Halal Study Center (ITS Halal) are:
- Build public awareness and commitment to halal products through information, training, education, and assistance in guaranteeing halal products for the people of Indonesia and the world
- Develop halal studies in the fields of food, medicine, cosmetics, media, entertainment, finance, fashion, and tourism for the advancement of halal Indonesia and the world
- Collaborating with the business world, Islamic institutions and mass organizations in welcoming the era of the halal industry both on a national and international scale
