Rabu (14\/8\/2024) lalu, tim pustakawan Perpustakaan ITS hadir menyapa masyarakat Surabaya melalui siaran langsung di Radio Merdeka Surabaya. Mengusung topik &#8220;Siaran Literasi Informasi: Mengenal <em>E-Resources<\/em> Perpustakaan ITS&#8221;, kegiatan ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa perpustakaan kini &#8220;menjemput bola&#8221; untuk berbagi ilmu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program <strong>Layanan Ekstensi<\/strong> Perpustakaan ITS. Melalui layanan ini, kami ingin mendobrak batasan bahwa perpustakaan hanya untuk kalangan kampus saja. Perpustakaan ITS berkomitmen menjadi pusat literasi terbuka yang inklusif, tempat di mana akses informasi berkualitas bisa dijangkau oleh siapa saja, mulai dari pelajar, guru, hingga peneliti muda di seluruh Surabaya.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/perpustakaan\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/94\/2026\/06\/Literasi-Udara.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12496\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/perpustakaan\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/94\/2026\/06\/Literasi-Udara-300x157.jpg\" alt=\"Literasi Udara\" width=\"500\" height=\"262\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/perpustakaan\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/94\/2026\/06\/Literasi-Udara-300x157.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/perpustakaan\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/94\/2026\/06\/Literasi-Udara-768x403.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/perpustakaan\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/94\/2026\/06\/Literasi-Udara-355x186.jpg 355w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/perpustakaan\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/94\/2026\/06\/Literasi-Udara.jpg 908w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Membuka Jendela Dunia dengan <em>E-Resources<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Selama satu jam siaran, tim pustakawan ITS berbagi informasi penting tentang <em>e-resources<\/em>. Banyak yang belum tahu bahwa Perpustakaan ITS berlangganan lebih dari 15 basis data internasional, seperti <em>ScienceDirect<\/em>, <em>IEEE Xplore<\/em>, <em>SpringerLink<\/em>, dan <em>Scopus<\/em>. Koleksi ini memuat jutaan artikel jurnal ilmiah dan buku teks digital dari seluruh dunia yang sangat berharga untuk menunjang riset dan pembelajaran.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;Kami ingin masyarakat tahu bahwa dunia literasi telah bertransformasi ke digital. Dengan <em>e-resources<\/em>, sumber pengetahuan global kini bisa diakses lebih mudah. Kami hadir untuk membantu masyarakat agar tidak tersesat dalam banjir informasi dan bisa memilih sumber yang kredibel,&#8221; ujar Eva Mursidah, salah satu pustakawan ITS yang menjadi narasumber.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Pintu Terbuka untuk Umum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Perpustakaan ITS percaya bahwa literasi adalah kunci untuk meningkatkan kualitas masyarakat. Melalui layanan ekstensi, kami tidak hanya berbagi akses, tetapi juga memberikan edukasi mengenai cara menelusuri jurnal ilmiah yang efektif, memilih sumber terpercaya, hingga menghindari jurnal predator yang menyesatkan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Antusiasme pendengar radio pun sangat luar biasa. Sesi tanya jawab menjadi bukti bahwa masyarakat Surabaya memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi terhadap akses informasi ilmiah. Beberapa pendengar bahkan menanyakan bagaimana cara masyarakat umum bisa bekerja sama atau memanfaatkan layanan literasi Perpustakaan ITS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Mari Tumbuh Bersama Literasi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Bagi kami, setiap langkah untuk berbagi ilmu adalah bentuk pengabdian. Perpustakaan ITS tidak akan berhenti di sini; kami akan terus menghadirkan program literasi melalui berbagai kanal media agar akses informasi ilmiah yang berkualitas semakin merata.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Perpustakaan ITS terbuka untuk siapa saja.
