Pemerintah Kabupaten Kediri harus mengoptimalkan Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Reduce-Reuse-Recycle (TPS 3R) dalam menangani permasalahan sampah. Forum TPS 3R Kabupaten Kediri mendapat amanat untuk mewakili Provinsi Jawa Timur di Perayaan Hari Habitat Nasional dan mendapatkan penghargaan terkait pembinaan optimalisasi TPS 3R. Pemerintah desa dapat menggunakan alokasi dana desa untuk pengelolan TPS 3R. Hal ini disampaikan Forum TPS 3R dalam <em>focus group discussion<\/em> (FGD) Perencanaan Teknis dan Manajemen Persampahan (PTPM) Kabupaten Kediri pada hari Senin 11 Desember 2023 di Fave Hotel Kediri.<\/p>\n<p>Bupati Kediri mempunyai misi pembangunan yang luar biasa terutama bidang infrastruktur. Dampak negatifnya adalah pertumbuhan penduduk yang dapat menimbulkan permasalahan sampah. Maka semua stakeholder harus mempunyai kesadaran bahwa penanganan sampah adalah prioritas. Contohnya setiap pasar seharusnya mempunyai TPS 3R untuk menangani dan mengelola timbunan sampah.<\/p>\n<p>Ketua Tim Kajian Dr. Sutikno, M.Si, menyampaikan pengelolaan TPS 3R bisa melalui kelompok swadaya masyarakat (KSM) yang ada di desa. Sehingga pemerintah desa dapat mengalokasikan anggaran untuk pengelolaan TPS 3R. Pemerintah Kabupaten Kediri harus membuat pedoman teknis KSM pengelola TPS 3R. Kegiatan ini juga sesuai dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (TPB)\/ <em>Sustainable Development Goals<\/em> (SDG\u2019s) yaitu tujuan nomer (3) kehidupan sehat dan sejahtera,\u00a0 tujuan nomer (11) kota dan pemukiman berkelanjutan, tujuan nomer (13) penanganan perubahan iklim, tujuan nomer (15) ekosistem daratan dan tujuan nomer (17) kemitraan dalam mencapai tujuan.
