The Department of Geomatics Engineering under the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) opened the Geomatics Engineering Master's (S-2) Study Program starting in the 2009/2000 academic year.
Graduates of geomatics engineering are expected to:
- Be capable of understanding design methods and geospatial data acquisition techniques, along with database planning and preparation.
- Be capable of detecting errors and their sources, along with data conversion and relationships between geospatial and non-geospatial data.
- Be capable of applying geospatial and non-geospatial data for analysis required in other fields, particularly planning, monitoring, and future forecasting.
