Geomatics Engineering

The Geomatics Engineering Department, which is under the auspices of the Faculty of Civil Technology and Planning (FTSP), is opening a Postgraduate Masters program in Geomatics Engineering starting in the 2009/2010 school year.

Geomatics engineering graduates are expected:

1. Able to understand the design and geospatial data collection techniques and database planning and compilation.
2. Able to detect errors and their sources along with data conversion and the relationship between geospatial and non-geospatial data.
3. Able to apply geospatial and non-geospatial data in the framework of analysis for the purposes of other fields, especially planning, monitoring, and prediction going forward.
