Sebut saja beberapa koleksi yang baru-baru ini naik daun seperti Sapu Angin, Sirup Mangrove, Jamur Organik, dan Ekowisata. Produk tersebut berprospek menjadi industri lokal yang dapat bersaing di pasar dalam dan luar negeri.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Innovation Expo menjembatani antara <em>akademic, business<\/em>, dan <em>goverment<\/em>,&quot; ungkap Ketua Panitia, Mukhammad Muryono SSi MSi. Selain itu, menurut Muryono, di Indonesia bagian timur jarang digelar even seperti pameran inovasi.<\/p>\n<p>Expo yang bertajuk sains, teknologi, seni untuk bangsa ini memiliki empat sub kegiatan sekaligus. Keempatnya adalah Technology Expo, Talk Show, CSR Expo, dan Open Campus yang seluruhnya digelar dalam waktu bersamaan.<\/p>\n<p>Technology Expo menampilkan karya-karya teknologi kreatif dan inovatif dari perguruan tinggi, pemerintah, dan swasta<span><\/span>. Menimbang besarnya acara ini, maka pameran ini akan digelar di tempat terkenal di Surabaya, yaitu Tunjungan Plasa. &quot;Jika diadakan di Tunjungan Plasa, kita tidak perlu lagi menarik massa untuk datang ke sana,&quot; ungkap Muryono.<\/p>\n<p>Setiap harinya akan diadakan dua kali talk show berupa diskusi antara pemerintah, pelaku industri, dan investor untuk bersama menjalin kontak kerja sama. &quot;Tema yang diambil adalah Mewujudkan Surabaya Sebagai Kota Inovatif,&quot; jelas pria yang juga dosen di jurusan Biologi.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Di sini kita juga menarik minat siswa SMA untuk masuk ke ITS melalui acara Open Campus,&quot; tutur Muryono. Nantinya akan ada&nbsp; stand dari 26 jurusan di ITS. Sub acara yang terakhir yaitu program CSR, dimana akan ada branding lokakarya Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) binaan ITS. &quot;Program CSR merupakan suatu kegiatan <em>community development<\/em> sebagai bentuk pengabdian,&quot; ujar Muryono.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Innovation Expo ini adalah suatu kegiatan untuk branding ITS, rencananya akan diadakan setiap tahun,&quot; papar Muryono. Menurutnya, inovasi harus dilakukan terus-menerus secara berkelanjutan supaya Indonesia cepat meraih kemajuan.
