ITS Campus, ITS News \u2014<\/b> In order to provide information for prospective new students, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> held a hybrid New Student Admission Socialization 2025 at the ITS Research Center Auditorium, Wednesday (5\/2). In this socialization, ITS introduced five new study programs that can be selected in the 2025 Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Prestasi (SNBP) and Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes (SNBT) pathways.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In his opening remarks, ITS Rector Prof Ir Bambang Pramujati ST MSc Eng PhD said the five new study programs were the Biotechnology Study Program from the Department of Biology<\/a>, Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (FSAD), Applied Logistics Analytics Study Program from the Department of Business Statistics<\/a>, Faculty of Vocational Studies (FV), Process Safety Engineering Study Program from the Department of Mechanical Engineering<\/a>, Faculty of Industrial Technology and Systems Engineering (FTIRS), as well as Communication Science Study Program from the Department of Development Studies<\/a> and Digital Business Study Program from the Department of Business Management<\/a>, Faculty of Creative Design and Digital Business (FDKBD). \u201cWith these five new study programs, prospective new students have more choices to continue their education at ITS,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In line with the ITS Rector, ITS Director of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education Prof. Dr. Eng Chastine Fatichah SKom MKom detailed, with the addition of the four new study programs, ITS now has 56 study programs. Among them, there are 47 undergraduate programs (S1) and nine applied undergraduate programs (D4) that are ready to be contested at this year’s SNBP and SNBT.<\/p>\n

In an activity attended by hundreds of Guidance Counseling (BK) teachers and a number of students from SMA \/ SMK equivalent in East Java, Chastine specifically explained about the quota or number of seats available for new ITS students this year. For SNBP 2025, ITS will provide as many as 1,574 seats. Meanwhile, for SNBT 2025, ITS will provide 2,357 seats for applicants to compete for. \u201cThis quota difference needs to be a concern for prospective students in determining the path chosen,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Not only that, the professor of the ITS Informatics Engineering Department<\/a> also mentioned that it is important to pay attention to report cards, especially for the value of supporting subjects needed according to the chosen study program. To support these information needs, ITS has provided complete information on the www.its.ac.id\/admission\/ page for the supporting subjects needed for each study program at ITS.<\/p>\n

Regarding other selection paths, Chastine said that ITS provides Independent Selection which is divided into three. Among others, Scholarship Independent Selection, General Independent Selection, and Partnership Independent Selection. ITS also provides 16 study programs in the Undergraduate Program (IUP) which are spread across various faculties in ITS. \u201cITS provides opportunities for prospective new students through various channels,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

SNPMB Public Relations and Promotion Committee Coordinator Dr Dra Ismaini Zain MSi when explaining the SNPMB 2025 system in the socialization of ITS 2025 new student admissions<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

On this occasion, the Coordinator of the Public Relations and Promotion Committee of the National Selection of New Student Admissions (SNPMB) Dr. Dra Ismaini Zain MSi also presented information related to the SNPMB 2025 system. According to her, the admission system this year has not changed much. However, high schools that have implemented e-Rapor will have the opportunity to get an additional 5 percent quota of eligible students.<\/p>\n

Finally, Ismaini, who is also a lecturer at the Department Statistics ITS<\/a>, reminded that all stages in SNBP 2025 must be considered in detail. He hopes that there will be no negligence or delays in the registration process that can cause failure in achieving the dream of studying at the desired university. \u201cPrepare everything carefully for the best results,\u201d she encouraged.
